Last updated: May 3, 2026

At LaunchKit, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our software as a service platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and profile picture through your chosen authentication provider (e.g., Google OAuth). If you set up a password-based account, we store a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your raw password.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including the pages you visit, features you use, actions you take, the time and duration of your sessions, and your credit or token consumption. This data helps us understand how the Service is used and how we can improve it.

Payment Data

When you subscribe to a paid plan or purchase credits, payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number or banking details on our servers. We receive and store limited information from Stripe, such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, expiration date, billing address, and transaction history, solely for the purpose of managing your subscription and displaying billing information in your account.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage patterns. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. Analytics cookies help us measure performance and improve the user experience. You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using parts of the Service.

Device and Log Data

We collect standard log information such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, and device identifiers. This data is used for security, fraud prevention, and diagnostics.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure authentication mechanisms, regular security assessments, and access controls that limit data access to authorized personnel only.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes.
